Recent Reads

I’ve been neglecting you, Tumblr followers! Here are the last few books I read, and what I thought of them (briefly):

Unbreak My Heart by Melissa C. Walker: fun, hilarious, and sweet. I loved that the protagonist’s family was involved in the story. If you like adorable romance, you MUST buy this one in May.
Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo: fantasy done right. Great world building on this one. Really looking forward to the next installment.
For Darkness Shows the Stars by Diana Peterfreund: a retelling of Persuasion that goes above and beyond the label of “retelling”. I was seriously wowed by this one. So much love.

All of these were 5-star reads for me. Hopefully my current read doesn’t break the good-book streak!

Hope that makes up for my negligence! I’ll try to do more book instagramming soon. ;)
