Last night I learned that I’ve been pronouncing the word “genre” incorrectly my entire life.

The way I was taught: john-er (pronounced with a slight French accent)

The way it’s actually pronounced: john-ruh

My friend laughed for about five minutes because of how ridiculous I am.

I’m going to continue saying genre the way I wanna.

Also, sidenote: I watched the first episode of Fireflylast night, and I’m hooked.
